About Stuart Maxwell.

I am a passionate photographer who is primarily based in the South West of England. My photography journey began in 2008 when I found that I began to have an interest in landscape photography. With little knowledge and minimal equipment I began my journey into photography. Learning from my own mistakes on the way and gaining an understanding of light and exposure I began to grow as a photographer. My spare time devoted to reading all manor of photography guide books and location guides help me on my journey.

Along the way I have attended many one to one training courses by professional photographers who have helped me develop my own unique style and release my creative flair.

This soon developed into a more serious hobby covering a wide range of subjects including portraits, weddings, sports and now drone photography to complete the line up. Travelling in my spare time to honey pot locations looking to capture my own take on some famous images taken by others.

I soon started to see and realise the amount of stunning scenery in and around my local area within the Southwest of England and in my local parks where I was able to capture some fantastic images.

I love to be out in the open air looking for the next image that catches my eye whilst out on walks throughout the countryside with my second passion my three Labradors . One Golden named Poppy the oldest of the tribe, one Chocolate named Cooper and last but not least the youngest Millie who is jet Black. I am never sure who is more excited to be going out on our next adventure  me or the dogs.
